The 1958 Plymouth "Christine" was born to kill - claiming her first victim on the assembly line in 1957. Two decades later, in 1978, outcast Arnold "Arnie" Cunningham buys the rusty old Christine with the hopes of restoring the car to her original beauty. Through time, Arnie's obsession for Christine grows stronger and stronger. Arnie, once quiet and shy, undergoes drastic personality changes - becoming outspoken and arrogant, while his appearance grows darker. In an attempt to save their friend's life, Dennis and Leigh try to separate Arnie from the car he loves so much. But in doing so, they discover Christine has a jealous side. A side...that can be deadly.
