The F-14A Tomcat is a U.S. Navy carrier-based jet fighter.
Using the AWG-9 (called Aug-Nine) fire control system, the F-14A can pursue up to 24 targets (enemies), six of which can be attacked simultaneously with Phoenix missiles.
The F-14A also has a unique variable wing design.
This wing is designed to always be the optimum variable angle by computer.
For example, when it slows down, it spreads its wings to give it more power to stay afloat.
Conversely, when flying at high speeds, the wings fold up to prevent resistance.
